About Tote Ireland

Tote Ireland is the exclusive operator of pool betting on horse racing in Ireland. Founded under the Totalisator Act of 1929, the Tote accepted its first bets at Fairyhouse Racecourse on Easter Monday in 1930. Since then, it has been an integral part of Irish racing.

Tote provides betting services at all 26 racecourses across Ireland, covering every race meeting nationwide. In addition to on-course cash betting, Tote Ireland also distributes Irish racing pools internationally, allowing Tote operators and partners around the world to bet directly into Irish pools.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Horse Racing Ireland, all profits generated by Tote Ireland are reinvested into the racing industry, helping to support and enhance the sport at every level.
